Proposing more than just lighting, Lucibel LEDs

Within only a few years Lucibel has extended its expertise to the medical sector. This sector is extremely demanding both with regard to the cost savings required as well as the lighting quality which has a direct influence on the moral of patients and the efficiency of staff. In the medical sector stress and anxiety are palpable and lighting helps create a soothing and comfortable environment which has a direct effect on the psychological state of patients and care staff. As lighting plays a key role favouring correct diagnosis, visual rest and comfort, Lucibel has adapted to these requirements by proposing ever more efficient and innovative LED solutions.

"Safe" lighting
Perfectly designed and adapted to lighting requirements in entrance halls, waiting rooms, corridors, rooms, consulting rooms, operating theatres…, the Lucibel solutions are certified "photo-biologically safe" (standard NF EN 62471), a certification to which health institutions are paying more and more attention. The entire Lucibel core product range is inoffensive for human tissue (skin and eyes). This certification is becoming increasingly important as it confirms the safety of fragile persons when exposed to Lucibel LED products.

A profitable investment
Lighting represents almost 40% of the electrical energy consumption for a hospital. This figure is far from negligible as it quickly amounts to several million euros. In order to reduce energy costs, health institutions are increasingly installing systems based on LED technology which offer numerous advantages: Increased cost-saving, LED lighting is also more ecological, reliable, practical and aesthetic. Thanks to its customised solutions, as well as fast and easy installation, Lucibel is able to propose functional lighting systems offering considerable reductions in running costs (up to 80% reduction in energy costs) and maintenance (operating life 50,000 hours, easy maintenance).
