Simple colourful highlights to wow staff and Visitors

Hewlett Packard Enterprise use lighting to integrate their new brand language

Lighting is a flexible tool for interior designers and organisations who are trying to strengthen their brand experience and integrate their brand language into their architecture.

The reception area of any head office is the first time a brand can make a physical impression on visitors. Following the split of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) from the HP business in 2016, HPE chose TRILUX lighting to help establish its new identity in its head office building.

Steve Mace, HPE/ISS UK Lead Project Manager describes, “The Element is our new logo, it is a green rectangle designed to be a metaphor for how we are an integral part of our customers' success and to express our renewed commitment to focus and simplicity. At our head offices, we wanted customers and staff to be able to experience the new brand from the moment they arrived on site and continue the brand journey throughout the building. This is evident with our giant lit logo at the entrance and green touch points throughout the building, right from the security barriers. The reception lighting is another example of how we did this.”

SIMPLE COLOURFUL HIGHLIGHTS TO WOW STAFF AND VISITORS

HPE chose two of TRILUX’s contemporary ranges to add to their customer’s brand experience – Belviso and Lateralo ring. Gareth Quartley, TRILUX Lighting International Key Accounts Manager, expands, “Belviso is well-suited to innovative and striking illumination concepts. It conforms to the DIN EN 12464-1 anti-glare standard, so is ideal for a high tech working environment. Furthermore, it’s highly efficient microprismatic cover and LEDs produce a soft even light. Whereas Lateralo ring is a real eye catcher and adds modern design appeal in offices and work places.”

Steve concludes, “We are extremely pleased with the final effect. Our brand is focused around the ‘Element’ making the green rimmed Belviso perfect, it easily blended into the overall look and feel. While Lateralo ring suspended above the tables in the visitors seating area provides a simplistic elegance which wows. They also provide a pleasant light. We have had many positive comments on the innovative concept.”
