TWO UNIQUE SHOPS

CLS Lighting can be used in many different situations. Fixtures are being used in museums, offices, theatres, facade lighting and more. The next two recently finished projects prove that projects do not need to be very large to realize beautiful concepts.

The first project is Maine Women’s Wear in The Netherlands. This retail shop got a complete makeover. The interior design has been made by RetailLab.With this makeover the shop got a very elegant and warm character. RetailLab chose the CLS Ultima Track and Luxo series for this project. The beautiful design of the black Ultima’s amplifies the character of the interior. Also, the very low UGR value (<13) makes sure that glare is limited to a minimum when walking through the shop. With the different available lenses in the Ultima Track, numerous objects have been optimally illuminated.
In the centre part of the shop, Luxo 3 and Luxo 6 are used to create the perfect working ambiance around the cash desk and fitting rooms.

Another beautiful retail project that was finished recently is a knitting shop in The Netherlands, named “Zin in Breien”. Most traditional knitting shops seem a bit dusty and cluttered. This one however, is set up in a very modern and beautiful way. Architect Frank Loor was responsible for the whole interior. It is clear that he chose for a modern approach that fits the name and vision of the store. For the lighting Frank looked for a good fixture that matched the budget very well, without losing any quality.
Bringing out the colours of the wool was one of the key demands. With that in mind the Sapphire fixture was chosen which offers a high light output and a choice of LED’s with a very high CRI 93 valueto bring out the colours perfectly. To blend in with the interior, blank heat sinks and white covers were chosen. These choices can be made in the configurator on the CLS website where almost every CLS product can be configured.
