EasyT8 LED retrofit and Aura Fortos the right LED solution for TOOLPORT

TOOLPORT, the market leader for professional tent solutions, and one of Europe’s largest wholesalers of professional party and storage tents, wanted to improve its old lighting system, while also reducing its CO2 footprint.

As a wholesaler, the company has a large number of storage areas which all require good lighting to ensure that staff are guaranteed the maximum visual comfort while carrying out their work every day. Therefore, it was also vitally important to TOOLPORT that there was no loss of brightness.

Until then, the company had been using the original 58W T8 lamps. As Aura EasyT8 Long Life has the same shape and size as T8 fluorescent lamps, the existing light fittings could be used, which meant that the process involving the replacement of the lamps was quite simple and involved minimum effort. As a result, TOOLPORT now had Aura EasyT8 Long Life 21W 850 lamps fitted in uncovered CB luminaires at a height of 7 m.

“Aura EasyT8 lamps are not only quick and easy to install, but they have also saved us a considerable amount of energy and money. Not to mention that we are impressed by both the long service life and the 5-year guarantee provided by Aura Light,” explains TOOLPORT.

Apart from the retrofit involving the replacement of the original T8 fluorescent lamps with Aura EasyT8 Long Life, an Aura Fortos 160 W luminaire was also installed. This is a highly efficient high bay LED luminaire which is particularly suitable for warehouses. The outstanding light quality of these lights has resulted in a lighting level of 150-200 Lux at TOOLPORT, with maximum energy savings at the same time. Furthermore, the Aura Fortos is also very easy to install and reduces the maintenance costs for heavy installation applications.

Solution for TOOLPORT:

  • Aura EasyT8 Long Life: LED Retrofit
  • Aura Fortos: High bay LED luminaire
  • Reduced CO2 emissions
  • Energy and cost savings
  • Easy to install
  • 5-year guarantee
