Gira Sensotec and Sensotec LED

The Gira Sensotec and Gira Sensotec LED provide greater security in the dark by automatically switching on an orientation light when they detect motion in the long range. The Gira Sensotec uses dimmed room lighting for this function, while the Gira Sensotec LED features an integrated LED orientation light for this purpose. If required, room lighting can be switched on undimmed without contact when motion is detected in the close range of 5 cm.

Sensotec

The Gira Sensotec automatically offers more security and orientation in the dark by switching the room lighting on in dimmed mode as soon as motion is detected in a predefined long range. Motion is detected based on the doppler effect principle, which enables precise detection despite high temperatures. If more brightness is desired, lighting can be switched on undimmed with motion in approx. 5 cm. proximity.

Features:

  • Flat design and diverse configuration options
  • Reliable motion detection even at high temperatures
  • Motion detected in the long range: Room lighting dimmed automatically
  • Motion detected in the close range: Lighting switched on without contact
  • Detection through doors and walls
  • Range can be expanded using reflective materials
  • Range can be customised
  • Glare-free effect thanks to dimmed room lighting

Sensotec LED

The Gira Sensotec LED uses an integrated LED light to provide orientation lighting which switches on automatically. Thus it unites the functions of a motion detector, an LED orientation light, and a contactless switch within one device for the first time. Like the Gira Sensotec, the Gira Sensotec LED also works using sensor technology based on the doppler effect. When motion is detected, the integrated LED light subtly illuminates the surroundings to provide orientation within the room.

Features:

  • Flat design and diverse configuration options
  • Reliable motion detection even at high temperatures
  • Motion detected in the long range: Automatic LED orientation light
  • Motion detected in the close range: Lighting switched on without contact
  • Detection through doors and walls
  • Range can be expanded using reflective materials
  • Range can be customised
  • Glare-free effect thanks to adjustable light intensity
